Good trip

It was a good trip, but a lot of the amenities at the hotel were shut down because they were under construction, including the restaurant, which is one of the reasons I booked this hotel

Dirty, no hot water, this walls. Unfortunately, our room was dirty, missing soap, and no hot water (we heard the boiler was out for ā€œstack 11ā€). Thankfully, our room was switched, but maybe so was everyone else. There was so much yelling, slamming, and stomping from every direction- like a thin walled apartment. We at least had hot waterā€¦

Visit

We came up to go to the Packers vs Vikings game and Twolves vs Spurs game. Loved the place didnā€™t like that our rooms were not ready till after 5:00 or so. They said they were behind. We came into town and had to change from one event to the other and I didnā€™t want to walk back to our parking spot but i did. It worked out but extra running around because our rooms wasnā€™t ready but loved everything about the hotel. We will be back in the spring for baseball.

Mid-range hotel

Normally Westin properties offer a lot more. I was pretty underwhelmed by this one. The staff was pretty short and rude both over the phone and in person with the exception of the man running the desk at the lobby on Friday night. He was respectful and helpful. Even the restaurant staff was unattentive and rude. I know it's the off season, but very unexpected. Pool was in good shape. Bathroom was good. Room was overall clean. The bed was horrible. There was a big dip in the middle to where anything placed on the bed always rolled to the middle. I'm not going to say it was a bad stay, but definitely not up to Westin standards. Wouldn't stay there again.

The hallways were filthy. There was also some unannounced construction that may have influenced us to stay elsewhere. Not their fault, but the skyways close on weekends! No exception to remain open during blistering cold temps

staff was friendly and helpful but our stay overall was less than satisfactory. The room did not look as advertised on the site. The bathroom has no ventilation. Outlets for charging devices are only on one side of the bed. Our room was not serviced once (we only had ā€œdo not disturbā€ on the first night we stayed). The hotel layout didnā€™t include trash bins and the hotel trash cans donā€™t hold anything bigger than a bottle of water. Loading and unloading takes place on the street which isnā€™t exactly safe. And the location that is supposed to be stocked with food and drinks was bare to say the least. And parking arrangements could have been better but that is a logistical and land use matter. Overall, we didnā€™t have a great experience. We would have chosen another hotel after the first night if we had the time to search and transfer to a new location.

Nicky the bartender at the Bank was awesome. We sat at the bar and he was so friendly and made our experience unforgettable. Next time in town Iā€™ll stay there again and definitely look for Nicky!
