From my point of view, and my expectations, the house keeping could have being better, considering that I stayed 7 days, after complaining, I got the room cleaned and organized 02 days in a week, what was very weird for me specially when considering I was with a family (2 kids).

Great location and the room was comfortable and clean. Couldn’t get the coffee maker working which was disappointing. In the am of 7/26 the young girl at the front desk was unhelpful and so rude. On the other end, when we checked in on Friday the young man who helped me was so kind and helpful

The front desk staff were absolutely rude. The manager was not helpful either. We asked for housekeeping twice over our 5 day stay and it was cancelled and after asking when we can get it. They said they could bring me sheets to change the bedding myself. This is supposed to be a four star hotel but the service is worse than a motel. We complained and this site was not helpful at all. I’d I could give it zero stars I would.

I absolutely loved my The Royal Sonesta Minneapolis downtown. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly, my room was beyond amazing. Water pressure in the shower was great and I saw no signs of mold. The carpet was well vacuumed, no crumbs. I woke up in the middle of the night, super thirsty and remembered there were complementary water bottles in my room. Plus the hotel was extremely aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t eat there but the restaurant smelled amazing. I’ll be staying here every time i come back to Minneapolis. Beyond happy with my stay

Stayed for 2 nights, the hotel is beautiful and most of the staff very helpful and friendly. Their restroom off the lobby is a little dated and not as clean as everything else. There are great views from the room windows. Room was comfortable with ample pillows and space. On site restaurant was good for breakfast did not have a chance to try other mealtimes. Loved the vibe as well, and pet friendly is always a plus!

The hotel was very nice and conveniently located. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. However I was disappointed that we never received house keeping services and we were there 4 nights. I was told we had to request it so I did. Nobody ever came to replace towels, empty garbage, replenish toilet paper etc. Very disappointing that this was not addressed and handled as requested.

Zak is great.

Zak is great. I’ve stayed here at least 5x but never felt that so welcomed and appreciated like he did. 10/10 would recommend Zak! And the hotel has easy enough parking. Could use a rooftop hottub for sure.

Not just bad but real bad

Was forced to change rooms to accommodate an airline pilot. Housekeeping never showed and never answered the phone. The restaurant bar staff was overtly rude. That are if town is dirty load of restaurants are closed. Don’t ever stay here

The AC in our room would not cool the room lower than 72°, elementary breakfast, no pool, had to ask for your room to be cleaned, and lots of homeless people across the street so when you walk out of the hotel, your bombarded with the smell of marijuana

Lovely spot with delightful staff and a really cute motif. The restaurant onsite was terrific - ate for lunch and breakfast as well as cocktails

Marriott across the street

The entire hotel on the even sides of the halls face a wall (windows but all facing a wall. The bar/restaurant staff was rude. Out of the blue hotel staff pressured me to change rooms for the sake of an airline pilot who wanted my room. Downtown Minneapolis area is sad and unsafe and dirty.
