Cute small house in a great location

The house had everything I needed for my two week stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Great location right outside of downtown Cle Elum. Would stay again.

The owner is very welcoming and the property is ideally located right off the Main Street of Cle Elum. The house has all amenities & is a charming 1915 cottage that has been thoroughly modernized without sacrificing character. For our stay,the owner was still required to occupy the house as “host” which was cramped & inconvenient, but that is due to change by end of June 2025as otherwise, the space is charming & very functional.

We came to participate in an event at the Washington State Horse Park. This cabin was super close to the venue plus it was close to Safeway and the cute downtown of Cleveland Elum. The air conditioning was a life saver and we appreciated the excellent washer and dryer. The wi-fi was very fast and the TV had lots of choices for streaming. Our do enjoyed the big back yard! Thank you.

We had a great stay overall and found the location to be one of the biggest highlights of this property. It's an easy, flat walk to many of the shops and restaurants in downtown Cle Elum, which made it very convenient to get around without needing to drive everywhere.The location is especially ideal if you're attending an event at the Washington State Horse Park. We were able to quickly zip back and forth throughout the day, which made show days much easier and less stressful.The neighborhood itself was very quiet, quaint, and enjoyable to walk around. Our dog loved the nearby parks and the peaceful streets for daily walks.One thing future guests should be aware of is that the home appears to also function as a primary residence. There were personal belongings, food items, and other everyday household items present during our stay, which wasn't necessarily a problem for us, but it did mean there was less available storage and counter space for our own belongings than we expected from the listing photos and description.It wasn't a major issue, but if you're traveling with a lot of gear or prefer a more dedicated vacation rental setup with plenty of empty storage space, it's something to keep in mind. Updating the listing to better reflect this aspect of the property would help set expectations for future guests and avoid any surprises.

We arrived late at night. Host gave very good and precise directions. Beds were very comfortable, we dint spend much time there only to sleep and leave in the early hours. The place was cheery and comfortable.
