The hotel is 140 years old and you can most definitely tell despite it being cosmetically updated. Be prepared for the crown moulding to fall apart; the shower to be unsafely hot and noisy; the ice machines to stop working in the AM; and the A/C to go out during peak times. We called to report some issues earlier in the day and maintenance let himself in while we were still in the room without advance warning. The desk staff were so kind, but this hotel is absolutely lacking. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere nice like the Marriott or Renaissance nearby. I will not return in the future.

We booked a room that specifically featured a separate tub and walk-in shower, as shown in the booking photos, and paid a higher rate for that amenity. Instead, we were placed in a dated room with a standard tub/shower combo. The overall condition didn’t reflect what was advertised — the sink faucet knob was broken, the toilet ran continuously after flushing it, and there were visible crumbs on the couch. Since we were only staying one night and had dinner plans, I didn’t raise the issue with staff at the time. The worst part of our stay, however, was the overwhelming noise. There was a constant, disruptive level of loud and obnoxious people on our floor that made it nearly impossible to relax or sleep— something I’ve never experienced to this degree at a hotel. While the location was convenient to nearby restaurants and the staff was friendly, the experience did not justify the $400/night price tag.

We had a great stay! Our first room was great but the AC went out in that room midway through the stay. Ronnie at the front desk was extremely helpful and quickly moved us to an upgraded room for the remainder of the stay. The accommodations in both rooms were fantastic - very comfortable bed. The bathroom was incredible with a nice soaking tub. The coffee in the coffee shop downstairs is excellent. Ronnie, Michael, and Wash at valet were all very friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back!

The Cincinnatian is a lovely hotel in a great area of downtown Cincinnati. It has old charm, staff with friendly service, and well maintained rooms and facilities. There is a great coffee shop on the first floor, and there is also a restaurant, though it was unexpectedly closed the evening we attempted to go. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again if we return to Cincinnati.

The biulding seriously moaned...have to pay tip to get car out of valet parking afyer pating $42 to park there. The bar in the hotel served food that was wrong and was told phillipones work here they dont understand. Horrible... sray anywhere else

We booked a room here for our 25th anniversary because we stayed here for our honeymoon. They gave our room away and offered us a lesser room. We will not be back
