For an expensive room, I was underwhelmed. It was very small. The aircon was very noisy (we had to turn it off to sleep), as was the fridge (couldn’t turn it off and it kept on turning off and on all night to cool). We had booked for 3 people and when I arrived there was only 2 beds set up. They rectified immediately and very pleasantly. The housekeeping and bar staff were pleasant. The male reception staff were cold and didn’t seem very happy to be there. The female reception staff were lovely. The location of accommodation was excellent but the property is in need of a refurbishment beyond the reception area. For the price, I wouldn’t stay again. For the same price I could book at Novotel or Distinction and have a much better experience.

The staff were not very friendly. Most hotels will give you a late check out as a courtesy if flight changes happen. We were told in very strict terms it was $50 per extra hour. This does not engender good will or a good recommendation. We managed to get an extra half hour which made no difference. Breakfast range looked very unappealing and mean therefore we chose to go out for breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
