The parking around the back units is very tight and not enough spaces overnight, we had to park on the road 2 out of our 3 nights. During the day, the cleaning crew were loud and unprofessional. Laying down in their cars right outside our unit, on their phones watching loud reels sitting right outside out unit, communicating by yelling at eachother - it was not peaceful during the times we were there during the day.

Great value, did the job.

Quiet, warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Quirky vibe. Bathroom needed a do-up: toilet lid wouldn't stay up as the cistern was in the way. Shower had good pressure but needed a better clean. Nice clean linen. Great having a wee kitchen of our own. Good parking.

I stayed 2 nights with a 6 week old baby with me so friday night had a family next to me that was playing loud bass music late friday night Saturday morning i rang the christchurch council to have someone come out from night patrol to sort it out for me but they told me since i was on the same location as the noise was coming from i had to ring the owner of the motel so i did and asked them to get them to get it sorted out as i had to drive back to westport Saturday morning with 6 week old baby but the owner didnt really do much so i also rang the police about it as well

The price is fair, the property is good, staff is friendly, quiet at night. However, the WIFI does not stable, the car park does not design well, the toilet makes loud noise when filling up water.

The staff were great but the place is worn out, the photos on Expedia are not current. It needs a renovation and unfortunately the unit wasn't clean, kitchen was dirty and food on pots and plates. Some of the kitchen appliances were grubby.
