Was undoing a renovation room was upgraded but seemed smaller had to go all the way around the hotel to find entry through the car park no notification from EXPIDA OR HOTEL as a disabled person was awarded and very poor service and communication

Chester a very lovely place and staying at the Queen Hotel is a lovely place to stay the staff are very lovely and the food is wonderful i have been going for the past 3 years its very good if you coming on the train just a cross the road so its great all round

Front staff male with glasses is very rude. On Saturday late evening there was another gentleman with a beard behind the desk and he was very polite. Breakfast staff very polite and efficient, breakfast was good. Hotel was being part refurbished which we were not told about. Took ages to check in, even though 2 people behind desk, only the young female was checking people in. The rude man wasn’t doing much. There was a line of people outside door waiting to check in. Not very professional!

Difficult to find the entrance due to refurbishment going on!! Room was ok… someone left the window open so was cold when first checked in! Light not working on one of the night tables. Very uncomfortable mattress. Quite expensive for room only

A Day and a night in Chester!
The Hotel is undergoing renovations so getting about was a bit difficult for my husband who is slightly disabled. No lift in various parts of the Hotel. I was the speaker to a ladies luncheon club and the fire alarm (activated by the builders) kept going on and on just when I was about to start my talk! Not the Hotel's fault! At one point we were ushered out into the courtyard!
