Comfortable, stylish and well-appointed spacious property. We very much enjoyed our stay! Sheets and linens high quality and clean. Sound machine and fan were an appreciated touch. The roof top balcony was amazing! Loved having the washer and dryer. Walkable to every thing we wanted to do/ see. The parking was a little tricky but once you figure it out is very convenient.

Good - location, clean, sizeBad - bath tub/shower is a bit odd, small kitchenUgly - construction, loud construction, right across the street constructionThe house itself was nice. Good size for two people. Location was wonderful. Easily walkable to most everything. The bath tub/ shower could be challenging. It is in a small area and stepping over the side might tough for those with limited mobility. The construction isn’t the owner’s fault. But it is loud and it goes on all day. I would stay in this place again but would want to see if the construction was over.

The host and accommodations were amazing. The only issue was the construction of the building across the street. It was so loud it shook the entire building starting early every morning. That was no fault of the owners and will be temporary.

The photographer deserves kudus for making this space seem larger and more inviting than it is. It is essentially a small hotel suite with the bedroom stacked upstairs from the living space. Kitchen is a micro kitchen with mini fridge and smallest 4 burner stove/oven I've ever seen. Master bath is a water closet with a claw tub jerry-rigged into a shower and literally on a patio. There is almost no closet space. Our first day we were woken at 7:30am by construction across the street. Pile driving foundations, our place was actually vibrating from the noise and impact. For hours. Yes, they caution you about the construction in the listing but this noise is intolerable. Somewhat to their credit they offered us a stay in one of two different properties further from the construction cacophony. However, after packing up and leaving, we found the first property had a leaky toilet and the promised parking was blocked and unavailable. And the 2nd place they told us to park was blocked and unavailable. Then the second property resembled a boarding house/apartment and wasn't remotely comparable. We decided to simply abandon our birthday trip and drive home in our frustration. A company representative said they would refund the remainder of our 4 night stay but they have not. Hard to believe anything this company (YOURPAD) says. Most of our experience with them was being told things that weren't quite true in order to get and keep our money. I would never use YOURPAD again.

Happy with our stay in Charleston. The location was convenient to a host of restaurants, bars and shopping. The communication from the host was fabulous. Clear and friendly. We were in town celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a lovely card and and bottle of wine on check in. A lovely gesture. Thanks so much.

We had a lovely stay here! The house was adorable and in a lovely garden behind a small gate that made us feel safe. Our only complaint was the listing had a beautiful ocean view, which we did not realize was not something accessible from the house, although not a major issue we were slightly disappointed for our first visit to Charleston. Overall we would stay here again and we were content with the owners help and instructions given as well.

Great little pad next to everything
Great place to stay tucked back off of King Street close to everything you'd need to kick off a day in Charleston. Nice secluded rooftop and comfortable bedroom and living room. Booked for 2, and would've been comfortable for that many, but absolutely perfect for just one person. Communication with the host was very responsive, informative and helpful. Definitely added to the faves.

The property was so cute and the perfect size for me. I stayed in the B unit. The bed was so comfortable and the house was spotless. Only a 20 minute, super easy, walk from downtown and there was even a really nice coffee shop two blocks away for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. 10/10 highly recommend this spot

Explore Charleston and its Southern Charm
The house was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. Historic Charleston has limited parking but we had a dedicated off site parking spot right around the corner. D’Allesandro’s Pizza was literally 3 doors down and the smell of the pizza cooking had us craving pizza. BTW, we had it twice and it was amazing. If you rent a car, rent a small compact car to get around Charleston. If going down near Calhoun street or further south, we parked in the Cumberland St Parking garage and it was reasonable. If you go anywhere north of Calhoun street, you can easily walk there in 15-20 minutes. The restaurants are either high end or bar food atmosphere. We like The Rarebit and The Griffon restaurant. If you like the old homes, then Charleston Historic District is your place. We parked along Murray blvd and enjoyed walking the neighborhood along with many other people just taking in the sights of the big beautiful homes. If you choose to go to the beach, we chose the beach at Isle of Palms. You park free along the road in designated areas and there are plenty. Then we walked through beach access points. Very nice beach area and it was not crowded. Back to our stay at our Vrbo. It was perfect for us. There is construction across the street but they are there during the day and we weren’t. We took off to enjoy the history Charleston has to offer. The tub is a claw foot tub and is a high step to get in but hey, it’s a claw foot. The rooftop is great for chilling out. Great place !!!!!

Would Stay Again!
This was a perfect option for our first visit to Charleston. There were only 2 of us so we did not need a lot of space and we knew we'd be eating most, if not all, meals out. It was nice having a kitchen option although there is only a small stove, basic microwave, and mini fridge (space has been designed perfectly to maximize features) so cooking/dining in with regularity would have been challenging. The neighborhood is in an up and coming area and was definitely walkable to most, if not all, locations we wanted to visit (if going all the way down King/south of Broad, it's about 30 minutes of walking). We chose to Uber for trips further south which was about a 10 minute ride. The bed is very comfortable! Host was very easy to communicate with, quickly responsive to any questions we had. As previously mentioned, there is no option to hang clothing so we did have to utilize the iron. Also, as included in the listing, there is construction across the street which begins fairly early each morning. We had no issues as we were ready to be up and about most days but if you are one to sleep later, you may want some white noise! We are already planning a return visit and would happily book this location again.

Well located
Cute house. Petite but functional. Love the neighborhood location as it’s close to tons of restaurants and shopping. The clawfoot tub shower was a bit scary to me. I have short legs, so getting in and out was not easy with no place to hold.
