Close to everything and plenty of perks with free snacks in room and lounge. Rooftop terrace has amazing views and a great spot to relax. The free drinks and appetizers from 4-5 is also a great perk. The day we were there we were so busy touring the town we missed lunch, the free bacon wrapped chicken bites hit the spot. Additionally the free breakfast was fantastic, far above what you’ll get at a normal continental breakfast. First day we were there it was eggs Benedict.

The hotel is amazing. everyone working there is so nice. very trendy hotel in the middle of french quarter ; can walk everywhere. 4-5pm lounge happy hour was awesome. complimentary snacks were huge bonus

Amazing! The bar has been raised for hospitality and excellence. The attention to detail, comfort, and thoughtfulness to the guest experience was shown through beautiful high end rooms, fantastic breakfast, and many included amenities like bicycles, a free cocktail hour, turn down service, and free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The location was also superb. The Loutrel has thought creatively about comfort and hospitality. I was totally impressed and highly recommend!!!

We spent the weekend at The Loutrel and now fully understand why it’s rated 10 out of 10. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by the front desk staff — they really made us feel at home. Every day at 4pm, the hotel hosts a complimentary happy hour with drinks and appetizers, followed by fresh-baked cookies at 5pm — such a fun and delicious touch! On top of that, they even provided a stylish beach towel bag complete with sunscreen. It felt like they truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The atmosphere, service, and thoughtful details throughout the hotel made it one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Charleston — we can’t wait to come back!

We hit the jackpot in making a reservation at the Loutrel. The customer service was wonderful! It was extremely clean and it made it easy to relax. Location was wonderful! I would highly recommend! We will definitely stay there again when visiting the Charleston area!

What a beautiful property! As nice as Ritz Carlton but many free amenities. Included breakfast was fresh and delicious, complimentary cocktail hour every afternoon, in room snacks and beverages free. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Rooftop open air lounge a plus. Great value!
