It was easy to get to the Charleston port, downtown and local areas. What concerned me in our room was the lack of proper installation for the smoke detector. Also, the showere leaked severely that there is wood rot damage

Very nice hotel at a much more reasonable rate than neighboring hotels. Got to stay in a convenient area with a little more money in my pocket to enjoy Charleston.

The main building was average to slightly above average. I was placed in the satellite building and it was a dump! The door needed to be slammed shut to stay closed when I left the room. Paint was chipping and peeling on doors - it is just not very appealing to your guests.

This hotel is so disgusting I didn’t stay. The exterior was the warning. When I entered the room an overwhelming smell of wet dog. ( I was told later that there had been a flood some time ago and they never recovered) Luckily they offered a full refund and I went directly across the water to another hotel that cost $40 more per night. Money well spent. I’m disappointed that Expedia offers this hotel as an option.
