The moment we arrived, the staff was great. The Hotel itself is beautiful, and conveniently located within walking distance to the pier and shops/restaurants. Our room was clean & spacious with a comfortable bed. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We will be back!

This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Our room was amazing: ground floor with a small patio to enjoy a perfect view of the beach. Unfortunately, there was loud construction almost the entire time we were there and we could barely use that patio during the day. I came with my mom for her 70th birthday and we can't do much walking because of her knee issues, so our plan was to stare at the beach all day! But since there was loud hammering, sawing, etc above us throughout the day from 9:45am - 3/4pm, we had to leave and drive around to avoid the headache. There was one morning where we left the back door open to listen to the waves overnight (which was so calming in the quiet) but at 9am I was woken up to a construction worker loudly yelling to the unit RIGHT ABOVE US. I went over to shut the door and there was no apology from him at all. This was our vacation. We told the front desk and they let us know we should have been told that there was construction, and that there would probably be more for the rest of our stay. The lovely person that checked me in made it a point to leave a welcome note and happy birthday message for my mom when we arrived, so not sure if the construction message got forgotten with additional things happening. Overall, lovely. We were just extremely disappointed that my mom's bday trip - one of or possibly THE only trip we'll take all year, was marred by construction. So certainly give it a try, just maybe make sure there won't be pounding above you <3

My wife and I have stayed at The Sandcastle several times and each time it’s a pleasure. We had the Ocean Front room with a balcony, which is literally a walkway width from the beach. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The reception, housekeeping and The Deck staff were all friendly and welcoming. The hotel has two decks with fire pits and comfortable seating. It’s an easy walking distance to the pier and restaurants.

OceanFront Room Review

Great stay. Beach access is 15 feet from the Hotel. Amazing Ocean View since we have an OceanFront room. The heater is a little tricky. Just make sure you go to the setting that looks like a "Sun" and all the emoji settings are lit, especially the one that says Eheater and Save. Even got a late check out for free.
