Curtious staff, convenient location to tour Cal Poly, clean beds and bathroom. Sufficiant for 1 or 2 nights. The things that brought down the rating was that the block out shades were an inch too short so the bright horizontal morning light felt agressive if you want to sleep past sunrise. The mold on the celing didn't seem like a health issue, but unpleasant to look at. Likely indicative of poor ventilation. The radio clock was wrong by 4 hours, not a big deal but added to the feeling of neglect.

Everything was normal about the property. Was immediately greeted. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Room didn't smell and appeared to be clean. BUT, the television was too complicated to control. It was very annoying. You couldn't just press up and down on the remote. And the remote did not have a backlight which made it more difficult to watch TV at night. I had to turn the light to look at the remote to enter some numbers for the TV guide then wait for the TV guide to scroll to find a channel or show I want to watch. Then enter that channel with dashes. And if I want to change it, I could not press up or down. I would have to turn the light and do the whole process over again. My wife was annoyed because she needed to sleep for her business meeting. I just ended up turning off the TV and using my phone. Very disappointed. A child or elderly person would definitely not be able to do that. I barely did and I'm in the tech industry. SMH. I will not stay there again.

Rose was amazing and ready to assist us however we needed - she helped make sure my mom could check in for us cuz she arrived before me, and she even brought up utensils to our room! Martha has also been incredibly kind! The staff are quite pleasant and very attentive here :) The hot tub was so nice and warm with jets and it was beautiful being outside in the hot tub -- the hot tub is a big reason why we chose this place!
