Receptionist was very rude, triple charged for the cost of hotel and they”didn’t know what happened.” Waited until the next day when condescending supervisor provided a patronizing non-explanation. There was a partial wrapper on the floor in our bedroom and a very long black hair in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable and overall it is NOT a place I would stay again.

Overall, our stay was great. Complimentary breakfast was good. Kind of surprised by the $15 a night parking fee. It's common in big cities, but SLO doesn't feel big enough of a town to charge for parking. The only complaint we had was if housekeeping happened to come by your room when there was a 'do not disturb' sign, housekeeping doesn't come back. The only reason we had that sign was to get changed. It was bad timing.

Great location, great hotel!

Check in was a breeze online, and it took just a few minutes to get my key when we got there. Parking was convenient. Staff was kind and made sure we had all of the pertinent information. Lots of cute restaurants/bars within a few minutes walk. Room was clean and well-appointed, beds were comfy - even had a fridge/microwave. The breakfast was good with a variety of foods. Definitely recommend!

The property was under construction. Did not hear any construction noises but areas by the pool were closed off. Some of the upgrades completed in the rooms were not completed well. For instance the toilet seat was off center, the toilet paper holder was crooked and the room smelled like paint. The room walls are also not very thick so be prepared to hear noises and foot steps. The place is walking distance to the SLO campus, the restaurant sharing the parking lot is solid with a weak 1 hour happy hour and walking downtown is reasonable.

Great location a mile from the downtown strip, with a bar/restaurant steps away. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. Two minuses: 1) The TV and remote were ANCIENT. The remote barely worked and felt like something from 1998. 2) The doors really rattle whenever someone else in the hall slams their door shut. I tried putting a towel under the door but it didn't help much.

The hotel was under construction and it was going to be very nice weather so I specifically chose a hotel with a pool. When I arrived, I saw that the hotel is in our major construction and asked about the pool which was closed, but they said the Jacuzzi area would be open and we could still get sun there. The next day when we attempted to go to the Jacuzzi, we were asked to come back an hour later. Then we were asked to come back an hour after that and then a hour after that. They finally opened by 2 o’clock. When I first arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff had two workers there who just kept working for 2 to 3 minutes before one of them finally looked up, but didn’t acknowledge me. She looked at her coworker and said are you gonna help her.Overall, I don’t think the staff is very accommodating and I don’t think the hotel should have disguise that they were under construction.
