"It was such a lovely, welcoming experience..."
We really enjoyed our stay at Clevedon Manor. The house is beautifully furnished in keeping with its age, around 1890. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and Clevedon Manor is located very close to the main street in Castlemaine which is just what we needed. The house is very comfortable with plenty of space to relax in the lounge, dining room and in very pretty gardens with a swimming pool. We visited local heritage towns like Maldon and Newstead which were like going back in time (in a good way!). We saw echidnas and plenty of kangaroos and did a lot of bird watching. I went shopping in the local antiques shops and visited the Fryerstown Annual antiques fair. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely go back again and stay at Clevedon Manor.

"Cozy hotel"
My family and I liked the cozy feel of the hotel when we arrived. The good in the restaurant is good. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. When we arrived in our room, the toiletries were not there, the staff forgot to provide it. Woke up around 1am because new guests arrived and we can hear almost everything they were doing. Didn't sleep well at all.

"Landscaped bush setting"
Enjoyed the green grass and quiet bush setting. Saw kangaroo's early morning and at night grazing on grass. They left plenty of fertilizer as well. Would recommend a stay at Aline park for clean and comfortable cabin stay.

"Fantastic Experience"
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Paul and Cate's. The accomodation was excellent, exceeded my expectations, Paul and Cate went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasurable and amazing. I didn't think this level of care and service still existed, but I was pleasantly surprised. David was also very helpful during our stay. I can thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here. I have told many family and friends about this and we will definitely be back soon. Thanks Paul, Cate and David
