Parking is only convenient if neighbours don’t over hand their own spots. Then you gotta park outside property

I had a mixed experience during my recent stay. There were some definite highlights, but also several areas that need attention. The Positives: • First Impressions: The hotel has great curb appeal with a very attractive brick exterior. • Outstanding Service: The standout of my stay was the female receptionist with tattoos. She was incredibly helpful and professional—she truly deserves high praise for her exceptional service. • Essentials: The bed and towels were perfectly fine and comfortable enough for the stay. The Negatives: • Room Layout & Privacy: The parking arrangement is a bit odd. My neighbor’s vehicle was parked directly in front of my room rather than their own, which felt like a bit of an invasion of privacy. It would make much more sense if guests parked in front of their own assigned rooms. And an abandoned fridge was left outside. Maintenance Issues: The room felt unfinished. The bathroom door was only half-painted, which looked quite strange. Additionally, most of the lights were not functioning properly, and the air conditioning remote was temperamental and difficult to use. Missing Amenities: I was disappointed to find no hairdryer in the room. It would also be a significant improvement if some basic coffee-making facilities were provided. Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities

Unfortunately no housekeeping was provided even though it was advertised as such....not nice to come back after along day out and rubbish and dirty dishes etc left in the room. The response was also very poor when we raised the issue. On a positive note, our room was clean and modern and well located with walking distance. Bed was comfy.

Unfortunately there was a a leak around the sink in the bathroom. However this was fixed. Also the fridge kept banging as it was defrosting and I had to turn it off the first night. Put it on a lower level but it’s still banged again the second night as ice dropped. Also I had a room with a car park out front however even though I didn’t have a car there was a car parked in front which I didn’t particularly like. Otherwise the venue is very nice and centrally located with easy access to the shops in the train. Just a couple of little hiccups.

The staff were great, check in and out was the best I’ve ever experienced. Netflix etc were on the telly but could not be utilised. The fridge was not turned on and there was no milk for the coffee etc. I’ve not stayed in a hotel for a while so that may be standard practice these days. If so disregard. I’d stay again. Thank you.
