I believe it should be stated on the website that there are renovations currently being done on the second floor. The smell of paint or whatever it was, is very strong and almost unbearable. We checked out as soon as we could in morning and do not feel well.

After a flight to YVR, a ferry to Nanaimo and back to YVR with a truck and trailer moving to Alberta we decided to stay in Canmore. We made it to Sicamous where the road to banff was closed forcing us back to Sicamous. Very disappointed that this hotel has showed no compassion for its guests and future guests. This was way beyond my control and we were forced to get a hotel in Sicamous. Thanks for caring.

“Great stay at Chateau Canmore. The area around the property is safe, quiet, and very convenient, with shopping and dining options nearby. Parking was easy and the location is walkable. The front desk staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Would definitely stay here again.”

Weight room is really good with an excellent variety of free weights, quality treadmills and other equipment. Clean hot tub and pool. Love the rooms with the extra sofa bed/ seating area with a fridge that has a separate freezer. Staff are nice always willing to give you anything extra you may need another one of like a coffee pod etc.
