I paid a high price for a Mountain View room-picture showed beautiful view The room had a window overlooking a circular parking lot crowded with cars and people. The heavy brocade curtains had to remain shut. It is a place to stay and sleep only. Little care is taken to furnish the room-old heavy worn furniture. It should be a cheap hotel as it is very depressing

Was expensive for the quality of rooms, but location and views made it worthwhile. It was nice to be surrounded by mountains and be able to walk to restaurants and shops. We liked the French restaurant for breakfast 5 min walk away. Laundry on premises were very handy as well. Would stay again.

This is a budget hotel with the best, most helpful and more friendly staff in any place I’ve ever been. The facilities are dated but dog friendly. Chose a room with vinyl flooring if you can. The location is great . Not too far from the city center and at a convenient location to drive to Banff. Again, the staff makes up for anything it might lack. Great budget option.
