Very old and run down. Phone didn't work. Showerhead had next to no water pressure. Had to wash my hair under the faucet. A/c unit was extremely loud. Very thin walls. No Netflix. Front desk was great.

We booked this hotel online for 2 nights over a long weekend. At over $400 a night we found it to be terribly overpriced for what we got. Extremely noisy and needs updating.

Perfect located hotel with good facilities

A great hotel located within walking distance of Canmore. Close to main road to Banff Facilities in the room were fine for our needs and we cooked readily Reception helpful with recommendations

It's just OK esp with little affordable options

The Lodge is quite outdated and in need of a good update. The pictures do not show how small the living area is with the kitchen. The bathroom is small and lacks basic things like cabinets etc to place your stuff as family of four. The bedroom lacks any closets.

Canmore is an excellent place to stay if visiting Banff National Park and this hotel was in a great location: a 10-20 minute walk to most of town and close to good food, Safeway, gas, and the highway. Train is nearby but didn’t disturb us. Plenty of parking, no designated spot for each room however. This place is not a Hyatt but it did fit our needs as we spent most of our days out of the room. Staff work hard and our room was cleaned daily. It did have an AC unit but it was terrible. Lots of aesthetic changes need to be made as the mirror brackets were broken, towel hanger almost fell off the door, the seal on the fridge was broken, and the shower curtain was old and ratty. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. There are picnic tables outside but the sprinkler systems kicked on nightly and soaked both the tables and our screen door! Hot tub was full of people most nights so we didn’t actually use it. Plus it was 80+ degrees every day we were there.
