The check in was a bad start to our trip, partly because a room was double booked by hotels.com for us, but more so the front desk's staff and their attitude. Sarcasm is a strong skill of a few of their staff, however customer service is not. Room was needed for an update, not the cleanest. The shower was very clogged.

Fabulous location

Great location. Everything is walkable from this hotel. Free CBD tram one block away. East parking. Convenience store located on ground floor was handy. Decent breakfast options offered. Great bar/restaurant attached to hotel next door. Super friendly staff. Very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was good. First time we stayed for two nights and got valet parking both times. We came back on our last night in Calgary and no parking was available when we arrived. We parked in parking garage beside hotel which felt a little unsafe due to drug users hanging out outside of the garage. That upset me, but overall, I liked the hotel.

Excellent location within walking distance to everything you need to see downtown as a tourist - the tower, the Core, the library, the Peace Bridge, etc. Very responsive staff - we had a cold night, they provided a heater and blankets, also printed our car voucher at no extra charge. We loved the restaurant, the terrace and the pool view!

It was okay

Bathroom was tiny. Tub was uncomfortable. Tv channels were limited. Bed was fine. They are pet friendly but there is no where convenient to take your dogs to the bathroom.

The cleaning staff need to start using proper disinfectant on the floors of the bathroom. The floors are tile with grout and they absorb moisture and the bathroom smelled of urine. If they used a mop with a stronger cleaning solution, the bathroom would smell better and cleaner.
