property is in a great location. We stayed in the Esplanade Tower, and the room was spacious enough for two people for a short stay. The bed was large, but it consisted of two mattresses joined together, with a noticeable gap in the middle that made it uncomfortable. The balcony was very small, not particularly clean, and the outdoor chairs were old, worn, and uncomfortable. only bath towels and hand towels were provided—no face washers. pools are undercover, so they receive no sunlight, and the area was quite breezy, making it too cold to swim during our stay. The whiskey and gin bar was closed on most days, and the breakfast was average. Reception staff were polite but provided only the basics during check-in and check-out. On Sunday morning at approximately 6:25 am, the emergency alarm sounded, requiring a full evacuation. Guests, including elderly people and those with limited mobility, had to use the stairs from upper floors. Once outside, there were no staff providing information or direction, and guests were left waiting for nearly an hour without updates or guidance on when it was safe to return. Eventually, people made their way back inside without any communication or apology. lack of communication during this incident was disappointing. lifts were also very slow, often delayed because housekeeping staff were using the same lifts as guests. staff at the bar were good. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. Several Areas of improvements required.

Balcony, wonderful view

The motel is in a great spot being close to lagoon, lots of restaurants and shopping. The buffet breakfast was great value and the staff were very helpful.
