Bondi pet-friendly accommodation

Is this ri We booked a room at the Shangri-La Sydney for over $750 for one night to celebrate my sister’s birthday, expecting a special and memorable experience. Later in the evening, a couple of her friends came to our room around 10:30 pm to celebrate with us. We were laughing, talking and enjoying our time together when the hotel manager arrived with another staff member. They were very strict and firm in their approach, telling us to be quiet and that our friends had to leave within 30 minutes. I understand that another guest had complained about the noise, and I respect the hotel’s responsibility to ensure all guests are comfortable. However, I was disappointed with the way the situation was handled. The approach felt unnecessarily stern and intimidating, and it disrupted what was meant to be a special birthday celebration. For a luxury hotel of this standard, I expected a more considerate and tactful approach to resolving the situation. While I understand the importance of respecting other guests, I also believe that how concerns are communicated makes a significant difference to the guest experience. Unfortunately, this incident took away from what should have been a beautiful and memorable evening for my sister. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration and gives greater attention to how staff handle these situations in the future.

Excellent!

Honestly faultless
