Craig's Royal Hotel - Ballarat Hotels

Craig's Royal Hotel

10 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat - Map
A spur of the moment decision to spend the night in Ballarat brought us to Craig's Royal Hotel and we are so glad we finally got to experience this grand hotel. Having had meals here before we always wondered what it would be like to stay and now we know, wonderful! Our room, a standard, was a perfect size and charmingly decorated and the bathroom was bright and spotlessly clean. All the public areas are so thoughtfully decorated and the atmosphere of a bygone era really enhanced our stay. We are planning when we can get away for a two night break to really immerse ourselves in the experience.

Room was very spacious. Slightly dated in style but very clean. Bathroom also dated but clean. Bath was small. Bed very comfortable. We had a room with a balcony which we could not access which was a bit disappointing. Excellent value for money.

"Nice hotel close to the Main Street "
Great little hotel very clean and tidy. Close to the Main Street. Great little pub across the road Table 48. Rooms are pretty modern with all essential items. A few things that probably need attention is the car parking as it is very tight, but probably not to much you can do about that. The other is the to stations were only a few stations that were working. To there credit we didn't ask about it so it could have been a simply fix
