Stay in our contemporary apartment, located in the heart of the Baddeck on the main street and just a stone's throw from the waterfront. Fully renovated a few years ago, this stylish and comfortable suite boasts modern amenities and sleek furnishings, ensuring a luxurious stay. You'll love being steps away from the village's best shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy to explore everything this cozy village has to offer.

As you enter the Nor Wester Suite, you'll feel at home in a contemporary fully equipped kitchen. It has everything you need to cook during your stay, including convection microwave, glass cooktop, toaster and of course a coffee pot. Cooking basics such as oil, salt, and pepper are included, and we even provide freshly ground local coffee to start your day off right!

Enter the cozy living room off the kitchen through a privacy door to find a large desk space for office work and a pullout love seat with a double bed. The making it an ideal space when staying with family or friends.

Master bedroom features a luxurious queen-size bed with top-quality white cotton linens and mattress, ensuring a comfortable and restful night's sleep. Also included in the room is a wardrobe for hanging clothes storage and a large dresser.

The bathroom is bright and modern, with a wide shower with bench and ample storage space for your toiletries. Fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body was and hand soap.

Each room in the apartment has independent heating and there are two air conditioner units in the suite, providing maximum comfort during your stay. The apartment is surprisingly quiet, street noise is not an issue, particularly before 9am and after 6pm.

Guests will share a small landing outside the suite with one other unit. Access to Laundromat during open hours.

Your co-host, Courtney, can be reached via phone or by popping into the Flying Kite Artisan Shop located just below the suite.


Key is located in a lock box - code will be given on the day of arrival.
Beach towels are available on request.

This is a lovely apartment right in the heart of Baddeck. It was very comfortable and well set up, and the host, Courtney was great. It was just a few minutes walk to a number of great restaurants. I'd like to especially call out Tom's Pizza - the pizza is amazing, and so is the value. It's just a minute up the street. We were lucky enough to be in Baddeck for the Prom Parade, Canada Day, and Kitchenfest - and heard some amazing musid. Baddeck is perfectly located to get to almost everything on Cape Breton within an hour's drive. I'll particularly recommend both the Highland Village and Donelda's Puffin Boat Tours. It was the perfect location for our exploration of Cape Breton. One note - the apartment is up a flight of wooden outside stairs. If, like us, you are bringing up 10 days worth of stuff, it will be a bit of work - but it's definitely worth it!

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Baddeck

We had a great stay! A separate sitting room allowed me to get up early and let my wife sleep in. Perfectly appointed kitchen made breakfast and happy hour easy. It’s a well-appointed kitchen, and cooking a meal would be easy, but too many good restaurants in town - all walking distance (same with the Bell museum).. Bed was very comfortable, and bath was beautiful. The place is in excellent shape, and cleaner than clean. Highest marks possible!
