Average, typical for a motel. Don’t expect much if you’re just there to sleep and pass the night maybe. Breakfast is fair, nothing special. Just the weird smell as you enter the room. Cleanliness is fair but questionable. All seems to be okay but in the morning we woke up suddenly my friend’s eye was swollen. Insect bite? We don’t know. You get what you paid for.

One night - 190 CAD, for a room with bugs

We stayed for one night while traveling on the Cabot trail. The first thing we saw when we came to the room was 2 centipedes and a big cockroach. The room looked ok. The towels in the bathroom were damp, but seemed clean. Breakfast was just microwave omelet and sausage, cereal, bread, coffee/tea. Nothing else - no yogurts or pancakes or anything like that. For the price that we paid of 190 CAD after tax, it really isn't worth the price.

Correct

Clean, good position to acces Cabot Trail via Englishtown Ferry . Old but pretty well maintained. Basic breakfast in a proper space . A little noisy due to the highway proximity

As we got to the motel after a long day to get our room keys, there was no one at the front office and it was locked. He had left a few keys in the mailbox and we did not know which room was ours. We had to call the number on the door where the owner didnt even bother to come assist us. We finally got into our room that looked like a jail cell. There was hair and stains on the beds and the bathroom was dirty. We were only provided one towel for 4 guests and when we asked for more, they were stained as well. We barely slept at night knowing we were sleeping on suspicious stains and the walls were not soundproofed. Given that the hotel is on the main road, there was a lot of noise along with our upstairs neighbours stomping around. The hotel had free continental breakfast which barely had any options. I found it to be very unhygienic as there was just a slab of butter on a tray for communal use. We could not even shower as the bathroom and towels were filthy and just chose to get out of there as soon as possible. Overall this was a terrible experience. My family and I would never stay here or recommend this place to anyone ever.

The sheets were dirty (one bed had a brown stain across the sheets), bathroom had hairs in it when we arrived. Breakfast was awful. Very few options and what they had did not look at all appetizing. We arrived at 8:30am (breakfast was 7:30-9:30) and there was mess from other guests that had not been cleaned up and no staff in sight. Only options were cereal (cornflakes or Cheerios), full fat milk was only milk choice (big 4 L just kept on counter for cereal and tea/coffee), bread and English Muffins, gross looking sausage patty's and flat circles of eggs (type that is frozen and heated) and plain instant oatmeal packages. That was it!! No fruit, no yoghurt, no baked goods. I ended up eating a small bowl of cornflakes and that is all - the sausage and eggs looked so awful (and I generally like both!). I was actually hungry an hour later. We were VERY disappointed in the breakfast. No real plates or cutlery either, all paper plates/bowls/cups and plastic cutlery. My husband has stayed here before and had a great experience. There are new owners as of a year ago and they have obviously cut corners A LOT. They took tea/coffee makers out of all the rooms and do not even offer it at Reception. The new owners seem to be doing things as cheap as possible and it shows. I had my parents here from the UK and regret choosing this accommodation.

It was old and not updated. Looks like they put in new air conditioning and floors but floors not done well. Bathroom very old. Toilet leaked and very low to the ground. Bed and furniture needs to be updated. Bed was not comfortable

The pictures are nothing like the room we stayed in. There was a hole in the wall and insulation showing around the newly installed heat pump unit.. I felt very uncomfortable there and when asked to me moved to another room, he said they were full... but the sign by the road said "vacancy" The breakfast was just "ok" nothing fancier then a piece of toast and a sausage round and what looked to be a scrambled egg round.

Staff was nice. But our room was not good. We had a nice view, but that was about the only good thing. The bed was caving in in the middle, the door didn’t lock very well-was very difficult to lock, there was a giant dead bug on the wall, only one lamp out of 4 lamps worked, the tv wouldn’t work, there were gross stains in the sink.
