Great view of the Atlantic Ocean front desk was very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the pub was good. BUT the room was not good! Mattress was so old that they put a cheap piece of foam on top to buy a bit more time before throwing out the mattress is my guess. The floor was never cleaned, dead wood bugs (not sure what they call them but where I live in BC we call them that) spider nests w/insects caught in it behind the toilet, live wood bugs, human hair. It was dirty! kept my shoes on at all times. I didn’t complain because we only spent 2 nights and there and there wasn’t anything else around the area for hotels/motels and we wanted to explore the area.

It was a disaster. We booked for 3 adults. There was 1 towel set, 2 chairs, the beds looked like they were slept in as the sheets were wrinkled and pushed under the comforter. 1 bed looked like someone laid on top of it. The bathroom was disgusting, broken toilet seat, dirty tub and sink. The room had a collection of furniture picked up on the side of the road, nothing matched. No headboard or microwave. We asked for another room and were refused. We were told there would be a credit on our bill which we are still waiting for.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The location is gorgeous, with a view overlooking the lake!! Beds were comfy. Dinner in their restaurant was delicious! It's basically in the middle of nowhere, but still well worth the stay!!

Beautiful view and friendly staff. Restaurant on the property has good food and full bar. We were there on a Saturday and there was live fiddle music! There is also a small convenience store/alcohol store on property which is very convenient.

We enjoyed the accommodation and cleanliness of the Iona Heights Inn. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pub has delicious meals, and the hot breakfast buffet was the best experience of our trip.

Property felt a bit rundown. Room was clean but smelled of mildew. Pub was nice, great local performer but music was far too loud for the space. Ate supper there but wasn’t told there was an additional charge because there was music happening, $5 was just added to the bill at the end which was strange. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, definitely their biggest asset:)

The fixtures in room were tacky metal cart between beds, only lighting was metal work type lights. Bed was mattress on metal frame. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Reastraunt food was good.
