We liked the location, the room was clean, convenient and easy to find. There was no coffee maker. And there was only one small garbage container in the bathroom. The bed sheets. We’re really wrinkled - not sure why. The place needs a good amount of maintenance and upkeep if they want to keep the property in good condition.

The property is well kept up for its age and is in a good location for walking the city waterfront. There were 5 of us and we were comfortable in the family room with 2 double and 2 twin beds, which is great for a larger family. Breakfast was as good as any we’ve had with lots of selection and seating.

The room was very hot and quite old thought clean No air Booked water view but that's a misnomer The window to that view is across the hall from the room. Check in was smooth until I saw two charges on my credit card when there should have been one. They fixed it after much conversation and said it was because they were being bought by Best Western.

The staff were wonderful and this place is kept absolutely immaculate. We had a sea view room, again... immaculate. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Yes... we enjoyed staying here. They do have some slots there and interesting antiques in the front room. The hotel is older but well maintained. We liked it here.

A very friendly and accommodating staff. The bed was really comfortable, and the pillows were lovely.Breakfast was good and well presented. Nice location. I will return when I visit Sydney again.

I will start by acknowledging friendly desk staff. Night desk staff was helpful to a point, by coming to the room and turning on a very old tv, for which the remote only half worked. The hotel lobby and restaurant area was not very clean and extremely dated decor and smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room had equally dated decor and was very dirty. Towels and sheets appeared clean, but old and yellowed from over use. The room smelled of smoke from other guests just in outer hallways smoking. Room walls and ceilings had lots of patchwork apparent under the paint. Under each bed in the rooms, was a piece of plywood screwed to the floor, for reasons I’d rather not think about. My partner joked that’s to cover up the blood from the crime scene. Joking aside, that’s the vibe the room gave off. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. The only reason we did stay, after checking in, was our prior arrangements for accommodation changed and this was the only hotel with rooms available, as a musical festival was playing over the weekend.
