Absolutely an amazing sea side resort. Beautiful view. Great restaurant on the property. Beautiful room nicely furnished and decorated. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

The hotel was absolutely beautiful with a quiet and serene beach. The restaurant was outstanding. We had the the best halibut dinner ever! The staff and owners were friendly, polite and truly welcoming. A fantastic experience!

Louisbourg doesn’t have a lot of options, but this was a nicely appointed and very clean property that was very close to downtown and also to the historic French fort/settlement inch was well worth visiting.

Lovely view from the bed and balcony. Bathroom definitely needs a renovation. Quiet area and we very much enjoyed the sounds of the ocean waves as we slept/woke-up.

I had an ocean view unit with abalcony on the second floor. I was able to sit out and watch the harbour down to the Fortress while sipping on my drink. All the amenities and the layout of the room were excellent. I didn't mind paying a total of $410.00 for the stay including a bowl of chowder but I was alittle put off but being prompted to leave a tip up to twenty percent. I have neverencountered this at a hotel before and seemed a little much.

The location had an amazing view and was very well appointed and decorated. There was plenty of parking. The room had everything you needed and was comfortable. We will definitely come back and look forward to it.

The idea of having this motel and restaurant was a dream and every effort has clearly been made to bring this dream to reality. The town of Louisburg is struggling but North Star Suites is a diamond, especially for anyone visiting Fortress Louisburg which is in sight from the waterside rooms. The restaurant is also really top notch. We hated to leave.
