The area is very urban and feels such - you are smack in the middle of a huge metropolitan area - and the West End is a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. There are several cultural and historical landmarks in the neighborhood such as Hammonds House and Wren's Nest, and our home itself is historic (1920).
