Getting shorted
Was looking to stay for 1 night on the 8.23.25 Book the room right at midnight went to the hotel arrived at the hotel less than 20min when arrived was told it was for that night of the 24th told them need to sleep for a few hrs I knew I had to check out 11 am on 24th. However they were all book up so I ask them to cancel the room that when I was inform the app had book me for 2 nights for the 24th. I ask them to cancel both rooms. Had to go stay at a holiday in. So I called Hotels.com the next day on the 24th to get a refund. Was told they called the hotel it self they had to get it approved through manger. Called a few times later that week and then about the 3rd of not being able to get the manger of the hotel on the phone they told me I could not get a refund. So when I cancel the rooms they gave me a print out of the hotel cancellation showing the rooms were 61. When I book the room, I paid through hotels.com 105 for the room due to the glitch I got charge for 2 rooms. So I ask hotels.com if they would at least refund there portion of the charge they told me no since the hotel denied the refund… so after a few weeks of calling back and forth they denied me the refund even though I gave them enough notice of the cancellation!!! The thing most annoying is that they hotels.com rep was never able to get ahold of the property manger!!
