The room is like Alaska, heating system is broken. As we have told by receptionist it was broken from last week. Apparently the room was not ready. It is not vip at all:) they brought a small heater, but it can not heat itself. What a terrible stay at all and we paid 200+, :( what is this?

The room filled with smoke, and when we were offered another room, that room was not clean and had soiled sheets. I raised these issues with hotel management and they approved a refund for my stay.

Cute place with friendly staff and cozy feel. Some amenities such as shower needs updating. It would have been nice to have more variety with breakfast, fresher and some different items some mornings. We also experienced the fire alarm sounding several times over the 3 nights we stayed.

I like this unique hotel & its location. I also like getting a free tasting from Williamsburg winery that is in the grounds. I will say the internet is almost non existent(I was not the only guest having issues). But if you’re looking for a quiet place to disconnect from the world with a cozy European vibe, free breakfast, and a free wine tasting this is the place for you.!

The property was serene and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent and everything was very fresh. The staff was lovely. Our room was very clean and I would rate this one of the best places we stayed in during our entire trip.

The breakfast was good, the room was beautiful, and the atmosphere was very calming. However, we could hear everything that happened upstairs, the person above us paced and we heard every wood creek, we did not have phone signal, a working TV, or Internet. We checked out a day early and were offered a refund for the second night.
