Literally 4-5 hundred dollar room for the cws and my room was 81 degrees, didn’t have ac didnt give us money back, gave us a box fan. Hosted people from out of town. Truly sad.

The hotel was cute, and the room was pretty nice and very clean. Staff were subpar. For one, I had a couple suitcases and no one offered to help me with them. The doorman didn’t even bother to open the door and just sat in his seat, next to the door, while I struggled to get my stuff in and out (door wasn’t accessible so no option for automatic open). Also, while checking in, the few staff members were loudly badmouthing other guests right next to the person checking me in. I heard everything that was said loud and clear. While it is very understandable to be frustrated at work, especially in a service industry setting, this behavior is extremely inappropriate to in front of other guests.

This is a very nice hotel with friendly, accommodating staff. Great food in the Monarch Restaurant, a part of the hotel.
