While the room was pretty standard and clean, the entrance is very awkward as the lobby is on the third floor. The elevators were extremely slow and I had to wait 15 min to check in, them an additional 10 to get to my room. The parking was filled prior to check in so we had to park in a garage several blocks away which ultimately was half the price but inconvenient with lugging bags and kids.

Where do I begin…the room we first got had a broken fridge. There was a tech in the room till 11pm. Finally they put us in a new room. This one was dirty. The bathroom was literally dirty with the mirror peeling off, light switch not attached to the wall. It’s just dirty. The parking was full, so we had to park far. Oh my goodness, the pool is another story! The pool is not as pictured. Don’t be fooled. And pay attention to the hours: 10am-8pm! In DC! The pool is disgustingly dirty. There were no towels when we got there at 6pm one night. I went asked for more towels. No, never got them. They didn’t restock till morning before the pool opened. My family would not go in the pool. It’s tiny and dirty. The staff is kit friendly or understanding . You’re just another ant that comes to sleep and leave. There is just no care. Oh. And the elevator… there was a guy stuck in it! They said it would be fixed . We were there four days. No, it didn’t get fixed.

The garage was full when we arrived all the way from NY. Then we had to walk over a mile to park. Annoying. The restaurants leave a lot to be desired. Front desk staff was seemingly nice, but when the young lady leaned on her elbow, held her head and shook her head at me in front of my face because she could not find my reservation, I was done but I smiled through it!! RUDE!!!

2 things... 1st issue, upon check in, dont remember the womans name, but, there were small bags of water for complimentary issue to guests. Well, apparantly, me as a guest, was not special enough to get complimentary water. That water at the safeway down the street, was .50 cents. 2nd issue...the free bfast. Granted its free, i got it, people will and did hoard bfast items...but, there were no plates, glasses or food for 15 to 20 mins at a time. I understand the job and hustle and bustle if anxious crowds, but, if yhis is an every day thing, shouldnt the cooks, staff be prepared. I asked for glasses and a plate and i got a huff and eyes rolled at me. So, i took my family to McDonalds down the street. Service there was excellent and cheerful. I understand people have bad days, but, keep ypur issues at home. The room was AMAZING! The house keeper was soooo sweet and friendly. Would i go to another Hyatt? Yes, but not that one. Other than those 2 issues, Awesome home away from home.

#1. The women working the front desk are all insanely rude! #2. EVERYONE refused to tell us where the ice machine was, would just hand us cups of ice. #3. The hotel is directly above a fire station, LOUD noises all night. #4. The pool is DISGUSTING! #5. Our room was NEVER cleaned, had to call 3 times for them to take trash out of our room. #6. Homeless people coming in and out of the lobby constantly, we witnessed a lady STEAL items from a family while they were unloading their car, and then run off. Location was great, but other than that, I will NEVER stay at another Hyatt again after this stay! Just YUCK! Stay far away from this place!!
