The apartment is in a good central Location. The carpet was dirty which made everything feel grimy, there is no place to hang bathroom towels and the windows look out at brick walls. Overall the apartment needed a revamp and was not worth the money.

Christchurch is walkable. The hop on hop off tram starts right outside the hotel entrance. The tram is an easy way to see the central business district, and the conductor provides comments as you go. Hotel staff is also quite helpful.

This hotel is most definitely not 4*, the rooms are shabby, and overpowering smell of bleach - hotel did kindly move us to another room, but it had broken amenities in the shower and the TV did not work. The lift and corridors had a weird smell resembling cooking and grease - Great location for exploring Christchurch - Quest Christchurch could certainly up their game to bring it 4* quality, having stayed in other Quests around NZ this is the poorest we've stayed in. Parking is good costs $25 a day with easy access

I have stayed here twice and will certainly stay again. Even though the cable car goes by quite frequently I was not bothered. Staff are lovely, location excellent for ChCh cbd, facilities good. Bed “ok”. Linens nice. Lots of hot water and water pressure good. Towels a little flimsy. There is no heat pump but there are wall heaters and a portable air con unit. Great to have plunger coffee and a nice wee kitchen. Also nice to have a balcony.
