I will never use Travelocity to book a room or a flight again. Other than the receptionist at the hotel being pleasant they made it very clear that a booking through a third party did not have the same status. Even though I had clearly communicated that we would be a day late getting to Christchurch, and the hotel communicated back, they still had my reservation all messed up and it a very long time to get it straightened out and they let me know it was due to booking through a third party. I am with a group and have also let everyone know not to book through services like yours. It was a very bad experience, never again. Jim McDermott

Nice hotel, short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Very close to the Casino, and the Tram pick up is right out front. The Bar has some good Happy Hour specials everyday. The Staff were all very nice. We would stay there again.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Christchurch. Its central location is unbeatable, with major attractions within walking distance. Front desk staff friendly and accomodating. Cleaning staff good. Gym access with good workout facility. Fresh cold water available in Gym and Foyer. Some room lights not working. Door sensor and swipe card issues. Parking is next to hotel but requires third party payment $NZD 25. Maintenance of property requires some attention. Did not have meal at hotel as lots of options outside but prices are very reasonable. Central prime location.

Perfect location, but disappointing service. This hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance of numerous dining options and the beautiful Botanic Gardens. While the room and property conditions are quite good compared to other options in Christchurch, the service fell short. The staff were unhelpful with tour planning—I actually found more assistance using Google Gemini. Additionally, breakfast was average, and be aware that barista-made coffees like cappuccinos incur an extra charge on top of the breakfast price.
