The room was very clean and staff very friendly. Bed was a bit soft saggy for my liking but that's a personal preference . The bathroom was large and very clean very small bottles of body wash shampoo and conditioner. The whole house was lovely. Great location . Easy to find.

French doors of our room leading to garden. We had cup tea out on verandah with friends who visited us there.
Hot tube in the garden was lovely . Soaked away travel aches.

Accomodation was top level and surrounding gardens were beautiful and a place to kick back and relax. Hosts Dennis and Pam were lovely people who had a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Welcoming coffee after a long drive from Greymouth and bacon and eggs breakfast was just devine. Very close to the city and local pubs for a nice feed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our room was spotless and thoughtfully furnished. The house is in perfect order and decorated beautifully with period detail reflecting the era when the home was built. All modern conveniences made for a wonderful stay. Centrally located in Christchurch with ample street parking. The kind hospitality of our hosts Pam and Denis, as well as their friendly doggy Ralph, was truly the standout for us. I give my wholehearted recommendation for travelers and would not hesitate to return.
