Entry is easy, with just a single step at the entrance. The ground floor is quite wheelchair-friendly, featuring a bedroom and a bathroom conveniently located next to the main living areas. This layout ensures comfort and accessibility for guests with reduced mobility.
Designed with a unique artistic vision by sculptor Robert Lachance, Chalet Sculptural blends creativity, comfort, and modern design. Nestled on a private wooded lot in the Laurentian mountains, it offers a peaceful retreat while remaining just 7 minutes from the village of Val-David with its restaurants, shops, and cultural activities.
The chalet features 4 bedrooms, comfortably accommodating families or groups of friends:

Chalet Sculptural’s design uses recycled materials throughout, making every detail a conversation piece. It’s the perfect blend of art, comfort, and connection to nature.
You will need a vehicle for getting around, and ample parking is available for all guests.
Please note: the chalet is located below the street level, with a small hill leading down to it.
Summer: accessible without any vehicle restrictions. Winter: good winter tires are essential, and a 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended. Do not attempt to drive down the chalet driveway unless you have a 4x4, as you may not be able to get back up. It’s safer to park in the designated street-side parking area, just a short walk from the chalet. Please make sure all members of your group are aware of this guideline.
👥 Occupancy & Pricing The base rate includes up to 4 guests (ages 2+). An additional fee of $20 per person, per night applies for each guest beyond this number (minimum 2 nights per additional guest, even if staying only one night). Maximum occupancy: 10 guests. ➡️ All guests must be declared at the time of booking. ➡️ Undeclared guests constitute a violation of the house rules and will result in additional charges and/or penalties.

🏊 Pool – Heated, available from June 15 to September 15, or when nighttime temperatures remain above 10 °C (50 °F).
🍖 BBQ – During the cold season, if present on the terrace, guests are responsible for clearing snow, cleaning the grates, and refilling the propane tank if needed (no winter maintenance provided).
🔥 Campfire – Available during the summer season only, when the designated black steel fire pit with grills is installed.
🐶 Dogs – Welcome (maximum 2) at $75 + tax per dog. Dogs must remain on the main floor. Safety gates are installed for pets and children. Please keep dogs off sofas and beds, clean up after them outside, and if there is noticeable shedding at checkout, a quick brush or lint roll is appreciated.

🕔 Check-in / Check-out – Check-in from 5:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM. No Saturday arrivals or departures (exceptions may be possible upon request).

Perfect location with all the amenities
The location is ideal with lots of outdoors recreational opportunities close by. There is even a connecting trail "out the back door". Town has a nice mix of restaurants and shops. Property had everything you needed plus a nice pool and hot tub. Host was responsive and considerate.
