Our stay was really good at the St David’s voco hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and had an amazing view. Thank you for the upgrade. Facilities were very good and generally we loved our stay. The things that let it down and had a negative impact on our stay were our room not being ready by 3pm for us to check in and having to wait an additional 1 1/2 hours before we could get into the room, which resulted in us having to move our entire schedule and rebook our spa treatments as well as rush our evening plans. This meant that our stay went from a restful break to a bit of a mad rush. Facilities were also stretched due to a national rugby team turning up. We also found no batteries in the TV remote in the room, and the windows were making a lot of noise during the night due to the wind. We still enjoyed our stay for Valentines weekend but could have had a better experience.

The hotel in general was very nice although for the size not a lot of restaurant space/ lobby seating. It’s main appeal are the views, this is the reason to stay. For us, the room rate was £249 and the room was very tired. I would expect an up together room at this price. It is annoying.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. Views of Cardiff Bay from the rooms are spectacular. The room was large with a balcony and extras such as nespresso machine and bathrobes. The bar/lounge area is a relaxing place for a drink.

The room was lovely ,the only thing that let it down was the coffee machine was not a nice tasting coffee and there were no coffee sachets available to make your own coffee using the kettle. Breakfast was very over priced at £25 pp.Only one lift worked so was very slow getting to and from the room.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Fab room and views. Room ready on arrival. Great spa. We had a fantastic body and face massage. Really lovely. Lunch was excellent,as was the breakfast. Staff were really nice and accommodating. Didnt want to leave. Lunch was excellwthbbreakfast.

Cleaning of room. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. The telephone in the room didn’t work and was clearly the same phone from when the hotel first opened. It was yellow. As was as was the room thermostat.
