Upon arrival, the hotel had previously checked SOMEONE else into my room, and then needed to scramble and find a room to put me in, and ensure it was clean… I waited up to 45 from time of arrival, to actually getting into my room… the hotel restaurant has RUDE staff, and reservation staff at the front desk are undereducated and don’t know what they are doing, they used poor communication styles, and were lacking professionalism… overall not a great experience.

We stay at this location every 3 months and this time we ended up on the 4th floor end room beside the stairs. With it being a Sunday night to Monday (as I have an outstanding doctors appointment) I’m not sure if this is where all the people stay who are staying there as they work but come 5am it was noisy. Stair door slamming, people talking too loud in the hall. I realize this isn’t the hotels fault but it would be great if all these construction workers or whomever they are that get up at 5 were all on 1 floor and only disturbed each other. We have a long drive home after my appointment and it sucks when you’ve been awake since 5! We’ve occasionally stayed in other hotels in and around this area and haven’t experienced this. We might have to return to those just cause the noise is crazy at 5am and doesn’t stop! Winter time thou we don’t have these issues.. the expression is so true about 2 seasons in Ontario winter and construction!

My sister and I booked at this hotel and the last min they cancelled her reservation and she had to find a new hotel at the last minute. We ended up staying in different hotels. Also, complimentary breakfast was only for 2 people but 4 stayed and it was very limited. Build up of dirt and dust on light fixtures and fans. Bathroom had tub that had cracks with bad looking repairs. Dated interior. Not worth the money.
