The air conditioning needed to be fixed in the room while we were there. Not too much of an inconvenience. The shower rod was not in the right place (had fallen so the bow was facing down instead of out from the tub) which made it impossible to keep the curtain closed and made the curtain hang into the tub and stick to you while showering. Not great.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to transportation, shopping, tourist, attractions, and great dining. The room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is that the towels really do need to be changed, they have seen better days. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and when I come back to Toronto, this is where I would stay.
