Not the best hotel. Found a piece of s*** in the room as soon as we checked in. Didn't even bother calling the front desk as that would have been a tough one to explain. I can imagine this was from someones pet from whoever stayed in the room before us. They must allow pets as I heard non stop barking in a close by room. There are families living at this hotel which is completely fine, but they left the workout room a disaster. I tried to go for a run on the treadmill one morning and 1 out of the 3 treadmills was broken. Then 2 out of 3 simply cut out as I was running, and then the same thing happened to the third. Last resort was the recumbent bike which had a peanut butter looking substance smeared on it. The women at the front desk were very pleasant but the man had a personality of a can of soup with one work responses.

The room was fine, bed comfy, shower good. However it was bad timing, we had a literal party outside our door in the hallway two nights in a row that we stayed. I asked them politely once at 10 pm to move inside their room and they quietened down for 5 minutes. At 10:30pm I phoned the front desk who said they would check on it It was thankfully quiet by 11 pm both days but sheesh, couldn't hear oneself think. The next day the front clerk kindly gave me a complementary treat from the snack bar for the inconvenience which was nice. Breakfast was fine but very busy; nice to have warm oatmeal and scrambled eggs, but the coffee tasted plastic. Hotel was right next to a police station so sirens went on and off through the evening and early morning so location of hotel is a bit unfortunate. Other than that the stay was fine, nice to have complementary parking outside.
