The room looked nothing like any of the promotional photos. There were only two pillows on the king sized bed, no extras anywhere, no decorative pillows. Only one bedside lamp. Slept well, bed was comfortable and did not notice noise outside. No stand for luggage. The bathroom was aged and grotty. The mirror behind the door had also sorts of lovely markings on it and just needed to be cleaned properly. Sink cracked, tapware corroding and white residue on glass. The back of the door to the room clearly had something fastened to it previously and all the sticking tape was still there, just looking grotty. Curtain hanging off the railing. Felt like there really wasn't any effort made. I was the one to initiate enquiries when checking in with no information forthcoming as to facilities, anything about the golf club, if there was anything that connected the two, or if any events were on. Instructions were provided as to parking. I did hear the reception staff member telling the previous guests checking in that an uber was available to go to the golf club which was part of the motel's service. This was recommended as previous guest/s had been assaulted on the way home. Disappointed and wouldn't recommend.

We have been coming here for years. A little disappointed, as only two pillows for a King bed. We had to request two more. Nobhand towel in bathroom, no hot chocolate for people who dont drink caffeine, a small amount of milk capsules and no cookies

This is our second stay at this hotel. We stayed here quite a few years ago and had enjoyed the state that we decided the next time we stayed in Toowoomba we would stay in the same hotel. This time we stayed in King, we previously stayed in the upstairs apartment. King is very spacious but does like a table and chairs there’s more enough to put one in so it’s odd that there isn’t one. There is a little outside area if you’re on the ground floor, which is lovely with a table and chairs but in the chilly weather a bit cold out there. There are some issues within the room configuration though as they’ve placed a microwave in the room which the kitchen area was not originally planned for is my guess. The PowerPoint is to one side of the sink and it’s only a double so once the microwave is plugged in on that side of the sink there is no room for a toaster or kettle. Your options are either placed them on top of the microwave which I consider a safety hazard lifting boiling water from that height being that I’m quite short or run the power cord behind our water source kitchen sink which I think is quite illegal but you’re only option see photos. Problem is solved if there was a PowerPoint on the other side above the fridge there would be no issue because the microwave would be placed there. Well out of the way and toaster and kettle could go in the double PowerPoint on the other side. Apart from the microwave issue, the cutlery and plates placed in the drawer dirty.

Wonderfully spacious, clean, and modern apartment, which was quiet, close to food and other facilities. Only downside is limited parking (esp. when returning later in the evening) and small spaces which made parking larger cars more difficult, and very small bins inside. When we stayed there it was very cold and windy in Toowoomba (colder than normal due to a weather event), and the central heating was a godsend. The room was a sanctuary, and we looked forward to returning there each evening. Would I stay there again? Yes.
