First time staying at an APA and it was amazing - room was a decent size, breakfast was via the adjacent Komeda Coffee and was toast, yogurt and a coffee. Also a great way to try the Japanese public bath experience via the one on the top floor. Very close (as in right next to it) to Tawaramachi metro station and not far to walk to Kappabashi Shopping or the Senso-ji Shrine area. A great hotel for a modest budget.

Maybe it is par for the course in Japan (this is my first time) but by US standards the breakfast was pretty shabby. In general, the place was overrun with huge groups. The staff were working hard but barely managed. English was subpar, too. Not a good place for a solo traveler
