This is our second stay here. Rooms are small but very adequate and well organized. Staff has been incredibly helpful and friendly. No problems with language issues. If necessary, there are always staff familiar with English to communicate with in person or on the telephone. Breakfast options are good deal before heading out to explore Tokyo for the day. Restaurants in the neighborhood at all price points. If you are a fan of Indian food give Downtown B's a try, just a couple of blocks from hotel. We will be back here for another short stay in April before heading back to the US.

Check out is too early!

The room is very clean. Staff are great. The only thing I don’t like is that the check out is too early (10:00 am) and yet you can’t check in until 2:00 pm, so if you’re just staying for the night, you actually only have 15 hours.

**Disappointed in APA Hotel and Expedia – No Help Provided** My partner and I stayed at APA Roppongi Six for our final week in Tokyo after a month of travel in Japan. We chose APA for its eco-forward principles, good reviews, and reasonable pricing. While the hotel initially met expectations, **a major cleanliness issue ruined our stay**. On **February 26, 2025**, I discovered **extensive black mold** inside the heating vent—just one day after their so-called “full room cleaning.” From the start, both my partner and I experienced sneezing, congestion, and, in my case, a rash. Seeing the mold, it became clear why. When I reported this to staff, they **dismissed our concerns** and merely offered to clean it themselves or suggest a medical visit—at our expense. After pushing the issue, we were eventually moved to another room, but no compensation or real acknowledgment of the issue was given. Neither **APA Hotel nor Expedia** helped us in any way. Given APA’s claims of high standards and Expedia’s lack of support, I cannot recommend this hotel chain—or booking through Expedia again.
