The one disappointing aspect was there there was no hot plate in the unit we had. Yes, it had everything else from a rice cooker, to toaster, to air fryer etc but no hot plate

The apartment was very spacious, clean and easy to access. Loved that we could open our windows, and use our own little courtyard. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a little dated, but truly usable. A great place for 4 adults. It was very handy to kmart and Coles. A great Launceston stay, thank you

The Good: spacious apartment from walking distance to Coles supermarket. Cooking facilities were available in the kitchen. Bathroom was spacious. The Bad: Bathroom door had been jammed. Needed iron-man strength to close it. Kids couldn't do it themselves. Also the vanity basin in the bathroom did not drain properly. We had to brush teeth in the bathtub, which was annoying. Also there wasn't an exhaust fan for the kitchen. When I booked this apartment, I saw a washing machine was included, but it wasn't. When asked, the receptionist said only some apartments have them. Not sure it was me who made the mistake or them.

We rang reception to ensure they knew what time we were arriving and was told that we needed to down load an app to access an electronic key to enter our room, We actually had to fight with the receptionist to explain we dont know how to do that, The phones were used to talk to each other thats all. BUT eventually she told us the key to access the room, Why didnt she do that at the start. The facility is NOT full serviced, all there is 1 fry pan, NO pots or hot plate, You need to clean your room of all waste and place in the bins outside before leaving the room .Maybe im being picky but for $200 a night and we were there for 3 nights, you would expect smooth sailing, There are better Apartments in the area, similar price Adina, is good close to the city but you have to book well in advance as its often booked out.

$20 fee if you don't take your own rubbish out of your serviced apartment... beware! This needs to be made clear to guests who check in after hours, as it is abnormal.

Wouldn’t return

Advertisement said serviced appartments but we could even get a change of towels of dish washing liquid, hand and body wash was empty and they didn’t refill even though we requested it. Old tied toilet wouldn’t flush properly tiles coming off the wall. Aircon dirty.

Did not like very steep stairs. Hard for two 75 yr olds. Unhappy about the $200 cc impost. One week later still have not seen it. Should be refunded the next day. The bes was VERY comfortable. Made me realise I need a new mattress.

The door keys are consistently a problem. The staff do not seem to know how to keep the electronic keys active. For the second time I have lost access to my room, this time it was late at night in freezing temperatures. Also discovered their afterhours phone service is unmanned and also faulty. I used to be a regular and loved staying here. However, the service and facilities have declined to the point where I have made the decision that I will not be staying here again, and due to the issue of safety caused by malfunctioning doors and phones I will be recommending anyone else against staying here.
