The 3 bedroom unit was quite clean and spacious. Some of the appliances are a bit dated but that didn't affect our stay. My only criticism was the bathroom - it was far too small - no room for getting dried and dressed because the toilet takes up that space. In a family unit, I think the toilet should be seperate to the shower for convenience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and spa area were clean and well maintained - my daughter loved the heated pool! Also, it was budget friendly. Could not complain about the price. Location is awesome - close to all attractions, shops, pubs, food places and everything else we needed. Overall, we were happy to stay there and if we get the chance to travel back to Tassie, we wouldn't hesitate to book in again.

My elderly mum and I would have no hesitation in staying at this beautiful Motor Inn again. We arrived at night and were pleasantly surprised to find the welcome light on inside room. When we opened the door, we said Wow this is so beautiful, clean, and spacious. It was also very quiet. We had car space outside the room and our room looked towards the BBQ area, which was only a small walk down back track, nestled in a quiet section of bush area. View down the valley towards Launceston was lovely too. Staff were fantastic and the cost of the room was fabulous for what we got, very economical. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay and we are so grateful to the Village Family Team that we look forward to our next visit.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. There was no hair dryer, nothing to wash dishes with, tiny bathroom, grafitti on the beds, mattresses must be at least a decade old, lights not working in the bathroom area, ants on the bedside table, couch as hard as a rock, stains on the dining table, steep stairs that were so creaky, with rickety handrail. Definitely not suitable for elderly people. It felt unclean overall. I would have expected better for $150 per night. Glad we only stayed one night. I do not recommend staying here.

Bad smell in room. Broken furniture in living space. All rooms in poor repair and what repairs were done very sub standard. Shower floor extremely slippery. Power outlets damaged and unusable. Car park and access roads full of potholes. I am surprised the property is allowed to operate as a motel. Only a single staff member was encountered, when pickup the key. He was very dismissive as he rushed off to another part of the property.

Gentleman at the Reception was very helpful. A bit disappointed though in the room. It was a bit tired looking, especially the shower. We asked for extra pillows and one had a stain on it that looked like blood.

Couch was worn out, lumpy and uncomfortable to sit on. Upstairs was very hot. Only one pillow per person. Kitchen very dated. Bathroom renovation looked like it was done by a butcher. The pool was gross, hair floating in it and the water was cloudy. Spa was cold. Restaurant wasn’t opened. Reception staff were hard to find.

Room had dirty marks all over the walls, hair on bathroom floor, broken toilet seat and putrid around the screws between the toilet seat and bowl. All powerpoints along the wall weren't working, lufht in the bedroom wash flickering. The forst bed in the bedroom had 2 broken wooden feet and the frame was broken in the middle as it sunk when it was sat on. The queen bed mattress is stuffed and sinks in the middle and needs throwing out. No info/manuals in the room. The laundry is filthy, 1 dryer desperately needs the belt replacing as it screeches and is extremely loud. The pool water was extremely murky. Spa wasn't working. Weeds knee high, cigarette butts and rubbish everywhere, pathways need pressure cleaning. Tried calling reception, no answer and unable to leave a message as the message bank is full. Sent an email that night, no response. Paying $190 for 1 night, this place is not worse a cent! I hope management respond to my email and address my concerns.

Building structure is terrible, you can hear people staying next doors going up and down their stairs and making the whole building shaking, or taking showers, flushing toilets. Didn’t have one single night with a good sleep. Both bedroom doors were broken and cannot be closed, same as the shower room door. There are too many ants in the room, we asked for insect spray, after spraying the ants, we asked for a room cleaning as there are too many dead ants. The staff promised to clean the room but they didn’t show up. There is only one top shower head which means I have to wet my hair every time I take a shower, and there is no shower cap provided in the whole village.
