Conveniently located and adequately comfortable

Stayed in a room with two twin beds. The room was spacious and clean. The wifi signal was strong and stable, and the speed was fast enough for video streaming. The location was 1-minute walk from Da-an Park station and a convenient store. There were several dining options and coffee shops nearby. A couple of minor gripes: * The shower curtain did not have enough coverage of the bathtub so some splashing of water on the floor was inevitable. Also the bathtub in my room had some DIY repair done before. While it still worked fine, having a large patch of caulk on the bottom didn't look nice and felt kind of weird to touch. * The twin bed was a little too short for me (I am about 6' 3"/190 cm). Wished the room description had included the dimension of the bed

Great location with many dining options nearby. Located right next to the MRT station and bus stops, this makes transport within the city very easy. The view of Daan park is beautiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious for its price in Taipei, and the bed was comfy. Electric bidet comes standard in toilet. There is also a self service washer/dryer for guest use. However, the building is very old, and the facilities show its age. During my week-long stay, a swampy, stinky smell emanated from the air conditioning vent, which I suspected was due to drainage leakage. I hope the management will address this.

Generally, a very nice stay. However, the bathroom in my room where I stayed (301) had two shortcomings. First, the mirror over the sink is too far away from someone taking care of their grooming needs. Second, the shower head is placed on the wall in a location that is almost guaranteed to have water spill where it's not wanted, even with the shower curtain pulled closed.

cheap upgrade makes great stay.

Overall, a nice stay. The only amenity can be upgraded is removing the cooler with REAL refrigerator! That item along can make the stay more pleasant!

This hotel is in a very nice area of Taipei. Being so close to the metro also makes accessing the rest of the city super easy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and most importantly the AC was cold (very important in summer here)! If I had to point out a negative, it would be that the elevator is small and slow. But it wasn’t really an issue at all during our stay and we would gladly stay there again. Recommended for sure.

Had their own washer and dryer which guests could use, which is always a great addition. One area to improve is probably the elevator, as it is aging and needs an upgrade to a newer and quicker version. Overall a decent hotel and would recommend.

Great basic room in awesome location.

We stayed for 3 nights and were pleased. The location is great - so close to MRT, and just right for what we needed. We weren’t in the room much, but when we were it was comfortable with a good bathroom. Basic stay for what you need. Love how close to the park!

Beware of Bed Bugs! Avoid this hotel at all costs! Our experience at this hotel was marred by a bed bug infestation. After the first night, we woke up with bites, initially assuming they were caused by a mosquito in the room. However, the number of bites increased over the following three nights. Being unfamiliar with the prevalence of bed bugs in Asia, we mistook them for mosquito bites. Upon consulting our general practitioner back home, it was confirmed that the bites were indeed from bed bugs, based on their distinct pattern. After consulting with our GP back home, we promptly informed the hotel about the issue, but they vehemently denied any presence of bed bugs. Their only response was that they had placed clean sheets on the mattress after we left (they were never changed during our stay), implying that the problem was resolved. Despite our attempts to explain that bed bugs reside in the mattress, not the sheets, the hotel disregarded our concerns and accused us of fabricating the issue. They even went so far as to suggest that the bites may have occurred during our plane ride, which was factually incorrect. We had already been in Taipei for several nights without any bites. This lack of cleanliness and their dismissive attitude left us thoroughly dissatisfied. We strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to the bed bugs, their failure to address the issue, and their unresponsive attitude our concerns.
