This is our second time staying at Amba Ximending, but unfortunately this visit was disappointing. Staff service was excellent — everyone was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the room conditions did not meet expectations. The TV signal was unstable, the WiFi was intermittent, and the air-conditioning weakened at night, causing us to wake up in the middle of the night feeling very warm. The room also wasn’t very soundproof, and we could hear noises from next door. The pillows looked fluffy but became completely flat once we lay on them, offering very little support - probably very old pillows. We also encountered a cockroach in the room, which was quite disappointing. Overall, the staff were great, but the room itself needs maintenance and improvement. It doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel to be honest.

The staff is very polite, helpful and attentive to my needs. The housekeeper knows that I require a floor towel and she placed one when she was doing her housekeeping. At the reception, the staff Andrew was meticulous by telling me to check if I have my passport and personal valuables during check-out. Their service is excellent. I will definitely return to stay at Amba Ximending in my next trip. Good job.

The space was huge and comfortable for two friends travelling together. The toulet and shower are separate, the vanity is open, there is a living room with a roomy couch. There is plenty of space in this industrial-look hotel. The beds are comfortable and in a separate space with a curtain so one person could stay up while the other slept. Given the hot and humid temperatures, we were pleased with the quality of the AC. In fact we had to adjust it because it was too cool. The front desk staff at check in were excellent (Wendy and Eddie). They helped us short list a few restaurants and places to go during 1.5 days with you. Thanks for a comfortable and convenient stay in Taipei

Had a good time this hotel is in a prime spot near all commuting options, MRT, and local area is vibrant at night great walkable area with shops, eating and market vibe with major stores in surrounding. Staff were attentive to one minor item and it was corrected quickly.

The hotel was in a great location. It was close to transit, food and shopping. The hotel was clean, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and despite being in a busy neighbourhood, the hotel was quiet.

Location is totally convenient. For muslim travellers, cant recommend this hotel enough. They have a separate halal breakfast set upon request. I was served beef noodles with salad. Utensils were seperated as well. Room came with prayer mat and Quran. Staff were friendly and accommodating as well.

We loved everything about this property. The rooms are clean and modern. The staff are very welcoming and shops and restaurants are just steps away from this hotel. It’s walking distance from the train station as well, so it’s very convenient. We would plan to stay here again in the future.
