This hotel was probably beautiful 50 years ago. Now it’s dated and dilapidated. Shower curtain is missing, bathroom door does not stay open. Carpet should be replaced. Stains on the furniture.

The location is reasonably close to the train station, and quite close to the bus stops that can take you to most of tourist attractions. The hotel was better than many people wrote. It was good for the price. Don‘t expect things you get in a five star hotel. I was there for 2 weeks and it was okay. Bus stations are close, but MRT is 15 minutes away, but you get everywhere by bus. Get an easy card in advance. You need about 100 NTD per day if you travel around. Use the google maps app to travel.

Overall, the hotel and room was quite nice, but I was disappointed that there was a lot of mould in the washroom along the tub and in the tile grout lines. As well, be aware that it is not normal for hotels in Taipei to necessarily have heat and this hotel does not, and I found the room quite cold and difficult to be comfortable in for this reason.
