Don't judge a book by it's cover

Cute remodeled rooms, the exterior reminds you of a 60's motel, but step inside to a cute remodeled room, new floors, new fixtures, bathroom, I will definitely stay there again

Checked in and turned air conditioning on ( was very hot day) when we returned to room several hours later , there was no power in the room. Called desk, who then proceeded to call owners of property for resolution. Were sending someone out to fix it ?????? Then finally decided to give us a different room. We received nothing for this major inconvenience.

Unpleasant stay.

Very run down. AC didnt work for one of the rooms along with the lock on the door. No cleaning during the weekend stay. Theyre listed as pet friendly and they are not. Had bugs in the room, like from the drains. No bed bugs or roaches which was good. Ripped screens on windows. Made a two room reservation and they only had one rm documented. Was an okay place for staying the night, but wouldnt want to hang out during the day.

It is a classic roadside motel from the 60's. The owner was very nice. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Good hot shower. Just tired and worn. Just slept there so no big deal. Good if you are on a budget or really tired and need to sleep.
