Checking in was a breeze with great vibes from the staff, which set a positive tone right away. The views from our room were absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed the cocktails at the bar – they were well-crafted and hit the spot.
That said, the food was a major letdown.
As a chef and business owner myself, I was particularly disappointed with the tamale and fry bread we ordered – they were bland and lacked any real flavor or authenticity. I’d strongly suggest consulting with one of your many Marriot chefs to revamp the menu with higher-quality, easier-to-execute items that could elevate the dining experience without overcomplicating things.
Additionally, our smoke detector went off randomly while I was using the blow dryer in the bathroom – it seemed overly sensitive and was quite startling. Despite these issues, the location and atmosphere have potential, but the food and minor maintenance quirks held it back from being a standout stay.
