The check in was complicated because Expedia seemed to indicate that a deposit was collected already. When the hotel wanted to charge the full price, confusion ensued. It was a nice place to stay, but it is showing its age.

The Hyatt location, room, staff and grounds were exactly what we were hoping but were disappointed in our room location, our room view was below the parking lot level and looking at bumpers. The staff said that Time Share Owners get first choice but did not disclose that when we reserved our room.

If you’re staying in one high end villas with gorgeous views, it’s definitely worth it. We initially were put in a ground floor unit with no view, and we had to complain in order to be relocated. We ended up in a great villa, but I feel that it shouldn’t have happened in the first place considering the price we paid. Also, we went through their time share presentation, which I wouldn’t recommend. Also, it would be nice if they had smart TVs, which would give customers the ability to stream Netflix, Prime, etc. Overall, I’d say we had a positive experience, and the staff was wonderful.

Unable to use the patio - the shade on the patio door didn't work. Only view was of the parking lot anyway. Pool area had nice views, though they had it closed for a couple hours due to weather. 10:00 am check out is lame.
